The bearded and bushy can now rejoice with the all-new Skarp Laser Razor that gives you a quick and easy shave without the mess. The Laser Razor features the look of a traditional razor, except instead of a conventional blade the environmentally friendly gadget is powered by a small laser that makes for a super close shave without the irritation.
The hi-tech gadget is possible thanks to years of research from founders Morgan Gustavsson and Paul Binun, who have discovered a chromophore that is found in human hair which can be cut when hit with a particular light wavelength. Made from 6061 aluminum, the prototype only requires a single AAA battery and has a laser life of 50,000 hours.
With the goal set at $160,000 and still 19 days to go, the duo have hit well above the desired amount already. Check out the Kickstarter campaign for more information.
