Astrophotographer David Lane traveled around America snapping stunning images of the Milky Way above iconic landscapes at several National Parks.
In what looks like a rainbow of stars floating across the night sky, one photograph shows an arch of more than one trillion stars glowing over a hot spring in Yellowstone. Another shows a trail of stars above the Delicate Arch in Utah.
“When capturing the Milky Way, I want it to be as beautiful and as true to life as I possibly can, regardless of the time required,” Lane told Caters News Agency. “In the end I want it to look like a fantastic watercolor painting that can fill the eye with wonder.”
