Four Marines are dead. Four of our countrymen have been lost. Four human beings were senselessly gunned down in a cowardly act of terrorism. To the police and first responders of Chattanooga, thank you for doing what you do. To the Marines of Chattanooga, we’re praying for you. To the people of Chattanooga, stay strong. To all military personnel, stay alert.

This is in our home, and it hits home not just for those of us who have served or have military loved ones, but every person fortunate enough to live in our country and be served by such heroes. The men and women who put their lives on the line every single day to protect us are not being protected. Do not let their deaths be in vain.
