This is a truly bad-ass off-road vehicle
Few would argue that the Jeep Wrangler isn’t one of the most quintessentially American vehicles in production today. However, it is a Chinese tuning company that has kicked the descendent of the WWII-winning proto-SUV’s ‘MURICA gland into overdrive, and we’ve taken to calling the end result – for reasons that will become obvious momentarily – one magnificent bastard.
Dubbed the G. Patton Tomahawk, this stretched Jeep receives a bevy of body modifications, chief among them of course being the extended length to accommodate a third axle. Each of those axles wears a pair or 17” alloy wheels wrapped in 35” tall Mickey Thompson off-road tires, and all six of those meats will be getting a rather strenuous workout thanks to the extra power a RIPP centrifugal supercharger has liberated from the 3.6L Pentastar V6. Inside, you’ll find a noticeably plusher than stock interior with what appears to be an unusual 2+1+2 seating arrangement. The Tomahawk certainly isn’t a conventional SUV, but that’s what G. Patton (and, one assumes, its customers) want, and for that, we salute them.
