Anti-Lego Slippers are Finally a Thing (5 Photos)

Legos are great. Until you find yourself trying to negotiate your way to the bathroom in the dark with piles of the tiny little bricks lying in wait.

We all know the pain of stepping, unsuspecting, onto one of those jagged little Lego landmines.

Which is why Lego have allowed Brand Station, a French advertising agency, to come up with the perfect gift for parents and big kids alike this Christmas: the official Lego slipper.

The squared-toe slippers are interchangeable between right and left feet, so it doesn’t matter if you’re putting them on in the dark.

They also come in the famous Lego colors.

And, best of all, they have a massive amount of padding so you can run across a sea of little bricks without feeling a thing. Maybe.

The bad news is that Brand Station have only made 1,500 pairs of Lego slippers, which were unveiled last week.

According to French blog Piwee they’ll be given away at random to people who fill out a Christmas wish list on the Lego France website. So, yeah, you need to be French.

For the sake of poor unsuspecting soles everywhere, we hope they launch them globally soon.
