Fender is Custom Building Guitars from the Hollywood Bowl Bench Seats

If you want a truly one-of-a-kind guitar that resonates with music history, this might be for you. Fender is hand-crafting guitars out of 100–year–old Alaskan yellow cedar planks from the Hollywood Bowl’s original bench boards.

Custom built by Fender Custom Shop Master Builder Yuriy Shishkov, the special Telecasters also have a different original “seat number” on the top of the body, so each is truly unique.

Since officially opening in 1922, the Hollywood Bowl has hosted such acts as Louis Armstrong, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Frank Sinatra, the Beach Boys, and Black Sabbath. It has also been featured in countless movies and TV shows.

Priced at $12,000, there is no doubt these special guitars will be extremely limited. Fender has not yet made any announcements regarding the availability or how many will be made available.
