Our 10 Favorite Entries in the National Geographic Travel Photographer of the Year Contest

It’s that time of the year again when National Geographic Traveller release their photographer of the year contestant photos and we all wonder at the beauty of the world around us.

This year’s breathtaking shots vary from triple lighting strikes in Yulara to a volcano erupting on an Indonesian island.

Photographers have until the end of the month to enter, with the winner receving a seven-day polar bear photo safari for two in Churchill, Manitoba, in Canada’s Arctic.

Greg Baugher

Bacon is always the answer. Currently working towards an MBA with an emphasis in fantasy football. I have friends in spite of myself. Probably the best meat eater in the world. Trying to change the name from Tweeting to Gregging. Recommended by 4 out of 5 people that recommend things. I’m here to avoid friends on Facebook.
