This Short Film Will Make You Fall In Love With ‘Wild Scotland’ (Video)

Over the past 8 or so months John Duncan has been putting together shots for his aerial video. He has traveled around Scotland usually getting up at offensively early times to get good light. He wanted to make a film which really shows what a beautiful country Scotland is. And he did. The music is by Tony Anderson – Eyes Wide Open. Turn on your speakers, the sound production is equally magnificent.

In the film there are shots from Skye – Quairang, Old Man of Storr. Glencoe (3 sisters), Buachaille Etive Mor, Sgurr a’Mhaim – Devil’s Ridge, Ben Nevis, Forth Rail Bridge, Dunbar, Rannoch Moor, Wallace Monument, Edinburgh, Glenfinnan Viaduct, The Kelpies.

John Duncan is a freelance camera operator, aerial videographer and filmmaker based in Edinburgh, Scotland. He has combined experience of film-making and photography to produce and shoot commercials, documentaries and corporate films across a broad range of genres.

In his own words:

“I work hard to capture great shots. Anybody can point a camera and hit record; framing a beautiful shot and telling a story is what sets my films a cut above the rest.”
