The Veteran Vision Project is a series that showcases the struggles of the military from the eyes of the veterans. It was started by photographer Devin Mitchell. He realized that he didn’t just want a picture of the veterans in uniform so he decided that we was going to create composites of the veterans in and out of uniform.
Each image consists of two different images of the veterans. One is of their identity while in uniform and the other is of their civilian side.
Mitchel uses these pictures of to show how difficult it is to transitions between the two sides.
