Whenever we see great nature photographs, we are taken aback by the beauty of Mother Earth. But we also know the photo was taken at a certain time of day to capture the best light under the best conditions, then most likely edited to really make it pop. What’s behind each final image is what went into getting that shot – the hike, the weather, the unphotographed scenes that only the photographer witnessed. There is always a story that we’re missing.
